I have to admit, the incest thing still really squicks me. Including the two from Firefly. It's kind of worrying that fandom is so hung up on sexual relationships that other kinds of affectionate relationship on screen get reinterpreted that way. I wrote weird RPF rapefic, yeah, but incest I will never write.

However, there don't seem to be many of us left...

Oh, it squicks me big time and I'd never write it (except in a very dysfunctional way, which I have done twice). But if canonically, a guy decides to French kiss his brother, that's hardly *my* fault, now, is it? *wide grin*

Of course, what makes it funny is that it's not sexualizing of an affectionate relationship, it's just plain teasing. But it's teasing in a shape and form most incestoslashers would fall over themselves to see, so by using *that* teasing I'm teasing *them*.

Does that make any sense?
