We're decorating the tree this evening and beginning the annual overdose of excellent (and/or nostalgic) holiday movies. I've just pulled out all the ones we have on hand. Currently showing is my personal favorite, the one that for me it isn't really Christmas without, Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas.

Also in the queue are A Muppet Family Christmas

That and the Muppet Christmas Carol make a great evening. Although I myself am partial to watching "A Christmas Story" over and over. And "Desk Set" is an *excellent* xmas story!

Yes, Emmet Otter is Christmas :)

I picked it up a couple of years back in a DVD two pack with A Muppet Family Christmas (which has a sweet little cameo by Jim Henson at the end that always makes me miss that man's gentle genius).

We always save A Christmas Story the Christmas Eve/Day TNT marathon. We just leave it on all day in the background :)
