So I've had the ideas for these embroidery hoop artworks made out of felt for a while but I've not been able to afford the felt (to be able to get a decent rage of colours costs a lot

I like these a lot. I like the Hawkeye Target, the shield, bucky's star. the hardest to understand are Carol's sash and cap's helmet.

Thank you. Yeah, I figured these might be good because they'd take less time than the embroidery and stuff but the materials aren't cheap.

I like the designs, though I wouldn't guess #8 (Avengers Hawkeye) without being told what it was. A lot of the embroidery hoop art I've seen is at about the $15-20 mark but I haven't seen any that are like these - mostly it's stitched linework on a linen or felt background.

Ah okay.
I was going for $20-$25 because hoops cost about $4 or $5 and felt is about $3 a sheet. So for two or three colours I'd not be making much anyway.
Most of the embroidery art I'd seen on Etsy was going for $40 and above. Way above in some cases but felt appliqué will take me a lot less time than the embroidery usually does.

Yeah, on etsy it's more expensive. The local market seems to be about the $15-20 range.
