AWWWW, YAY. This made my heart happy. I love the fantasy of this version of events - and then Lily and James don't die and Harry grows up loved and everything is wonderful. <3

I have only one small phrase I'd suggest a fix to, everything else is OMG perfect:

After long moments Sirius presses a kiss to Remus’ temple before rolling off the small bed.

I'd suggest, "presses a kiss to Remus' temple, then rolls off the small bed."
