There are five main books in this series, plus a spinoff book, but, of the purposes of this request, you really only need to deal the first three.

For the purposes of life, really :D And you are way nicer than me. My reaction to Zachary is pretty much: BOOOOO.

One of these days I'm going to re-read just the first three and convince myself it ends there. :D

I get sort of unusually defensive of fictional characters, I think! And I just keep thinking about how Zachary had such a crappy upbringing and then he meets this great family in the Austins, but they're pretty awful to him, even more he does anything to deserve it.
