Entry Thirty Six - Hankyung
Dear Journal,
When we moved into this dorm and I found out that I would be getting my own room, I immediately requested a larger bed. Reason number one for this request is currently sprawled half on me and complaining loudly and insufferably in my ear as I write in characters that he cannot read. I was certain that said reason would become a regular presence in my bed at times, especially as ‘Doomsday’ as he has called it, approaches. Heechul literally took a red permanent marker and wrote in big bold English letters on my calendar, circled them, and then drew burning and collapsing buildings all around it.
He is being way to melodramatic about the whole thing. It’s not like he won’t be calling me every single night. Besides he will have his own sub group that he is going to be busy with most of the time anyway. He pretends to be this mean uncaring nearly heartless person, but in actuality he is such a huge softy that is completely attached to the people he cares about. It’s a good thing he can’t read what I am writing because I am fairly sure that he wouldn’t like that last line. He can’t even get Zhou mi to read it for him. Zhou mi and I have a truce when it comes to Heechul. He doesn’t scheme with the man and I will deal with Heechul’s neediness. Trust me, it works.
I’m not sure why me going to China is such a big deal. It’s not like Heechul won’t have friends here. Hongki will still be here, so will Kibum, and Jungmo, and an entire army of other friends. Although I sincerely hope that F.T. Island locks their door and doesn’t open it for anyone at night. Otherwise their lead vocalist might find a visitor crawling into his bed at night. I don’t know what it is about Heechul and needing a breathing body to snuggle with most nights, but he does. Maybe he just likes to reassure himself that we are all still there.
I had better wrap this up now. The needy one is threatening to steal my pen and scribble all over the page. He will do it to, among other things. Pray for my survival.
