Oyyyyyy to the veyyyyy I'm stressing. Is there a Yiddish word for stressing? Schvitzing would work, maybe? Anyway. It's becoming clear how difficult it's going to be for me to get myself back on the right academic course. And I am stressing about it ( Read more... )

Well yes I know but it's still your 20th year. :3 I know, I was like "wut wait no you're a year off" when someone said it to me the first time too, haha.

Didn't we have some bonding moment because we realized we were both halfies? Or am I making that up? XD Yeahhh, Hanukkah started when I was at school last year too so we just.. postponed it for a week and then celebrated it the first week I was home. 8D;;

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, we totally did at Ycon. And yeah, I'm kind of bummed that I can't celebrate it with my family, but apparently they sent me a package with my gifts so yay. :3 I hope you have a good Hannukah with yours~

This entry rocked my evening.
1. Happy Hanukkah to you too!! I'm about to go in blatant violation of housing policy and light candles in my room.
2. HAHAHA MADE WITH REAL JEWS made me laugh out loud for a good minute.
3. That photo site is awesome. Makes me want to go take pictures and never do homework again.

Haha don't light your dorm on fire! And yesss that photo site makes me want to go take a million pictures of cute babies. Also along with another book, one of my gifts tonight was a Yiddish dictionary, so now I'll learn all I could ever need to know!

Also: according to www.yiddishdictionary.com , "stress" is closest to "untershtraykhn" (never heard that word before) ... or "kvetch".
