You all know this where you click on links and end up seeing stuff you never wanted to see (or hear... "never gonna give you up"......)

Today, I clicked on a Facebook link for "Fleurcup - Menstruation cup".
Yes, I had to share this and you'll wish me to hell + that you never clicked on the that link either ^^;;;

To sum it: WTF???

See the comment below, it is real.
But I think most of us will agree that tampons are the best solution ^^;;;

Hate to say it's real. I really don't like the idea that it's reuseable. YUCK

I've used the instead cup before. It looks more like a diagram.

the only problem is that cups are *very* messy. After using the instead for two years I've gone back to tampons.

Yeah, I thought that it might be messy, but... I wonder why people come up with inventions like that.

To save money and the enviroment.

Saving money okay, but the environment?

I think it's more complicated to produce one of those cups than to produce the equivalent amount of tampons. (Do we need any oil to produce tampons... not sure right now. I hope not).
Then, you need energy + water to sterize the cup again, so I guess in the end we are at +/- 0 at the environment costs.
Of course it DOES need less space in your trash can than the tampons you'd use in the same time.

I've been using one for 4 years one and it's probably the best thing ever. I have two in different sizes, it's very nature friendly, it lasts many many years and you can boil it or use gel to sterilize it. No biggie, I love mine very much

That's like the Diva Cup. You didn't know that? O_o You obviously need to frequent certain LJ comms a bit more XD Like ontd_twatlight. Mostly about mocking Twilight, but the users there talk about other stuff as well XD And yeah, Diva Cups belong to that.

IDK, I don't think it's THAT bad. I wouldn't use it, but I can see that you would save a bit of money.

I myself am neither a cup nor a tampon girl /TMI

As you might now, I'm not really interested to follow Twighlight comms. I'm not even following Merlin comms, and that's something I DO like.

I didn't mean literally that you should join them ^^; Just that certain comms talk about that and therefore I know that it exists ;)

Also ich dachte, dass du wenigstens hättest wissen müssen, was das ist, nachdem du auch auf twatlight unterwegs bist XD
