Title: Secrets Characters: Uryuu, Kon Locale: Music Room Timeframe: After Dinner What: Ishida telling his reasons for being here before Kon got the wrong idea... Rating/Warning: TBA
Kon wasn't lost for once, the music room had been relatively easy to find. He'd just lingered over dinner, enjoying some third and fourth helpings. And then he decided to stroll through the hallways instead of bouncing so he could admire the...wallpaper and--Okay, so he was stalling. Kon wasn't really looking forward to this meeting.
He didn't know how to react around Ishida. This was a serious issue the other boy was dealing with, and Kon didn't know how to handle SERIOUSNESS. Kon didn't want to mess up and-and-and...ugh, all the what if's were plaguing his brain. He felt so inept.
Dragging his feet, the orange haired teen finally entered the music room, confusion and hesitation written all over his open face. He hopped Ishida hadn’t been waiting long, but one look at the other teen’s face and Kon knew he’d reached a new level of fussy.
Kon sighed, this was going to be weird, "Hey...Ishida."
He could tell that Kon was thinking he was a fussypants again, no doubt about it. How the heck did he make up such a word.
That wasn't the main topic and switched his thoughts back to his main objective. "Hello," he greeted back and there was a moment of silence in between.
Awkward.
"How was..dinner?" Ishida asked, trying to start the conversation. He guessed it wasn't as easy to explain as he originally thought it was.
Kon shifted his weight from foot to foot, "S'okay I guess." Kon perked up at a memory, "Never knew that food could jiggle! It even bounced when I dropped it! How great is that?" Kon smiled widely, hoping he didn't look as nervous as he felt.
The teen avoided the elephant as he took a good look around the room, letting out a whistle of appreciation, "They don't skimp out on us crazies, do they?" Hell, there was a freakin' church organ in the far corner of the room, far nicer then any churches Kon's ever bummed in.
Jigglde? Bounced? Was he serious? And what the hell were they serving in the cafeteria anyway?
That wasn't the point. Once again, his thoughts went off track, which was unusual. Maybe he was acting like this do to the current situation he was in.
"I guess...we should get to the point," Ishida finally said, bravely.
