There's a ton of British mystery shows. I'm not a fan myself, but Rowan Atkinson is playing Poirot, and I think Martin Clunes (Doc Martin) is playing a historic detective as well.

Rowan Atkinson is brilliant, but David Suchet owns Poirot, now and forever.

It's one of those things where I keep seeing the actor, not the character. I could be wrong it's Poirot but I'm pretty sure.
