Hope you have a lovely time! I was thinking earlier this week that it's seven years since Squeee Odyssey, and were we all really that obsessed with stuff? I wouldn't swap a minute of all the time I spent immersed in the House fandom for anything but from a distance it feels a bit "we were young and crazy back then". Though space has definitely taken its place, I have a whole load of space fandom (and professional space industry people) friends online now and the squeeing is mostly about how awesome and amazing it all is, rather than how cute people are (I said mostly, I can't forget the time I tweeted how handsome Luca Parmitano looked in full dress uniform and he replied because I'd absent-mindedly included his Twitter handle).
