Tori for world dominatrix.... lorrainemarker September 6 2009, 15:55:39 UTC
I loved, loved, loved Tori wandering in and out clicking on her Blackberry. I have a secretary like her sans Blackberry (she's too efficient already - I'm scared to get her one). I'll send her an email to do something and then read the email sent minutes earlier where she magically knew I needed it done (before I did) and did it already.

“I suppose I should thank you for not pimping me out to the male delegates. Dies laughing. And then this really is not the most disgusting thing I've ever done in politics. It doesn't even make the top ten.” Dies laughing again.

Dozens and dozens of Tori's poised for world dominatrix,uh, domination.

Tory was unexpectedly delightful to write. I kind of had to block out of my mind that she's a cold-blooded murderer, but she was fun.

Glad you're enjoying this series!

I kind of loved how Tom tried so hard to flirt with Laura that I thought there was something fitting about Tom's...not quite corruption, but his fall from pure political idealism, coming about because he discovered he could be a ladies' man on Earth. And Tory's ninja-like efficiency has always scared me a bit... :)

Thanks!

Heee! Lunch. Oh, Tom, sweetie. I'd do lunch with you.

I loved it. Lee practicing his speech, Tom skirt-chasing (he seems to have reached the same conclusion Dee, Racetrack, and Seelix have reached about the fish in the sea now), and Tory on her blackberry. (You've read the Tory-Blackberry fic, right? :) ) And the women all noticing that Tom looks like Apollo... hehehehe. No wonder he's getting them all to... go to lunch with him.

Awesome!

Oh, Tom. Tom has a job where he's surrounded by powerful women who like politics. He's in seventh heaven. :)

No, I hadn't read that fic before today, but safenthecity sent me the link, and it's awesome! She really *is* plotting to take over the world on that thing!

This cracks me up. Seriously. Lee realizing that Mom and Dad can't come to his rescue, that he's actually going to have to work to get things accomplished as a politician... yes. And Zarek resembling TOS Apollo! xD Excellent. Love it.

And Tory had me laughing my ass off as well. "I suppose I should thank you for not pimpin me out to the male delegates." HA. Like Tigh did with Baltar.

I am wishing I could rec you to a little fic I found hilarious about what Tory would write in a crackberry, I believe it's called She Has A Plan(ner) but for the life of me I can't remember who wrote it or how I found it, just that it was on LJ somewhere. :/

Oh, ha, it's by millari, only I had a hard time finding it, for some reason. You've probably already read it in that case. But in case you haven't...

Thanks so much for the link. I hadn't seen that (maybe written before my time? Don't know how else I could've missed it). I laughed so hard at that...oh, Tom and Lee better watch out if they see she's making appointments to play raquetball. ;)

Thanks! Yeah, Lee had a wee bit of a rude awakening on that one--lucky for him that Zarek understands that the real key to politics is brown-nosing. ;) And Tory, I didn't think I was going to enjoy writing her, but she was really fun.
