It's tough to justify expanding my Quarantine Bubble to add a play partner when COVID-19 cases are hitting new records both nationally and locally.  Everybody predicted we'd have another wave of infections after kids returned to school and now we're about to have the great social mixing bowls of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Eve, which

I sure wouldn't risk expanding my bubble for a play partner right now. Maaaaaybe for a potential actual partner whom I've gotten to know by email and phone and Zoom and etc., but for anyone more casual than that? Nope, not worth the risk.

I am not happy about all the dental appointments I've had recently, but mostly they're pretty mandatory if I want to continue to have usable teeth. Definitely not happy about it despite all the precautions the office is taking.
