The Osaka Sonezaki Police have arrested former Kansai Johnnys Jr. member Daichi Nakata (21) on charges of theft for stealing a customer's wallet at an Osaka City internet cafe. Nakata admitted to the charges.
According to investigative authorities, Nakata is suspected to have stolen a wallet containing approximately 37,000 yen from another customer's private space at an internet cafe in the Kita Ward of Osaka City at 8:30am on April 25th.
According to Johnny & Associates, Nakata was an active member of the Kansai Johnnys Jr. group from 2002. He resigned from the group at the end of March and there has been no contact with him since then. "We haven't heard about his arrest," a spokesperson commented.
