[ Juudai wouldn't have called himself a "tea drinker" a month ago, but caffeine is caffeine and they don't really have any other form of it in Kannagara. ]
Yeah, rapping. It's some kind of English word for "talking," I think. [ Vague shrug. Juudai's got some minimal English, but not enough to parse out every loanword in the Japanese language. ] And no, I've never tried. I've seen people do it on TV, though.
[Johan simply cannot stop grinning this infuriatingly snarky little grin after seeing the video. This is so ridiculously amusing to him, so he just blurts out his thoughts when walking into the kitchen.]
--What strange things your mind creates! I bet Yuugi-san would beat you at a rap battle anyday, though.
[ In response to this, Juudai just takes a long sip of tea, making sure to slurp loudly, while he tries to think of an incredibly witty rebuttal. But it is. way too early. ]
He probably would. I don't think I could if I tried. [ He laughs. ]
[ Not that Juudai should be going out of his way to antagonize Elliot, but he can't resist a jab. ]
Why, you've never had a dream where you did something you never do? Spelled something wrong? Slept in and missed the math final? [ He manages to force himself to send it before he adds something that will really get him in trouble, like "show empathy for another human being?" ]
[This. Just... what is this? Of all the things Yuui has seen in dreams, this one is just.
Sleepy laughter slips out of him before he can stop it, unmindful of the twin curled up next to him in their nest of blankets as Yuui settles back against the pillow once more.]
Oh, it's fine. If a day can start with a laugh, it's a good day, right? Although...
[Pausing just long enough to tickle his twin's side then pluck the pillow off his face, Yuui grins at the Hitomi. No going back to sleep now, brother!]
I've seen that kind of music before and I must say - I didn't think you were the rapping type!

[Well. That was the weirdest thing he's seen this week, and even the fact that strange things with names is seriously kind of creepy... it's helplessly lost behind the WHAT IS THIS SHIT that is all of this dream.]
[...he's forgotten how frustrating you can be without even actually saying more than a single word. What the hell. What is with this mood, it's almost shining and sparkling with casual familiarity that causes normal people to vomit rainbows. Kanda will just ignore it. Or try. Not bothering to hide that I see what you did there suspicion, though.]

I'd say thanks, but I guess my subconscious did all the work.
You know I've never rapped in my life, right?
[ The words, so fast! How do they do it? ]

Rapping? Is that what you call those quick lyrics?
[Oh he's chuckling again.]
Surely you have some sort of precendent with that kind of thing for such a dram to occur.

Not... lately.
[ { Yubel, who has been laughing basically this entire time, chimes in: Oh yes, please, do try, Juudai! I'd love to hear it! Renewed mirth. } ]
Or ever.
