[The video turns on to reveal a thin red head nerveously staring at the viewer, his fingers play with the zipper of his white uniform and he is biting his lips, anxious to say something but at a loss of words as well

[Well. Curiouser and curiouser. This one might be an innocent. But innocent and -dumb- weren't the same. He didn't rub him the way the other one did. So Farfarello flicks on the audio feed and grumbles out a response.]
People wind up here. Take it for granted. You're stuck here. Take that for granted, too. If you figure out more, great. But don't think there's a magic way out that asking nicely will get you.
[It takes a moment for Byakuran to really take in the video feed. When it sinks in, he laughs and laughs - and goodness, this place really just makes him laugh so much. Shouichi is here, all on his lonesome- and those clothes. Aren't those clothes just a mockery and a slap in the face? ]
Shou-chan~!
[The audio feed might be a little crackly, because Byakuran can't seem to keep still.]
Shou-chan, you look a little bit lost, don't you~?

[Shouichi holds the device, in a tight grip, his hand begins to shake and breathing becomes harder all of a sudden.
The voice coming from the device is that of a dead-man. He's sure he lost it completely now.
He takes a few deep breaths. He's not completely sure the owner of that voice is the one he'd rather not see. But the fact that his pet-name was used rings alarms in his panicking mind.
Yet he doesn't reply, just staring dumbly at the screen. He probably just imagined it anyway.]

[Shouichi looks terrified and it's just.. oh so nostalgic. He laughs again and shifts around, taking in the details of Shouichi's face, his clothes, the way he can imagine Shouichi's stomach is growling and retreating into itself.
Byakuran knows Shouichi better than anyone else.]
You look like you've heard a ghost-
Ah, that doesn't sound so witty.
[He fumbles with the hitomi for a moment before ah- there it is. He grins at Shouichi and waves.]
[As soon as an image comes alive on the device, the image he feared to see because it'll connect the missing link between the voice and the owner and make him relive his nightmarish existance once again, his stomach twists angrily and he drops the device as if it's infected.]
Hhhnghhh...
[He holds to his stomach and lowers himself to his knees, head dipping low to the soft grass.
Breathe Shouichi, breathe! It's probably an illusion of your haunted mind anyway.]
[Well now. With every new familiar arrival the theory about random selection moves just a bit further away. This pisses Gokudera off. Simply because it would have been an easy solution, and he has other things to do than theorize about Kannagara and it's mysterious ways.
However, this arrival is a welcome one. If there is someone from their wretched world Gokudera wanted to see, it would have been this one. Irie Shouichi. Not because he is particularly fond of the guy, no, but because he has a functioning, sharp and quite usable brain in that nerdy looking head of his.
Ultimately, this game is not won by brute force.
He flips the recording on with a sigh, apparently sitting in a simple looking kitchen somewhere, not one modern looking item around him. Even the yukata he's wearing looks very genuinely vintage.]
Irie. [Take it as a greeting, even accompanied by a brief flash of a grin.] Have you figured it out yet?
[Mighty gods above, Shouichi has never been so thankful in his life, as he is now. His face paints with glee just from seeing the Vongola tenth's right hand man, not that he likes the crazy bomber or anything but the man is the only one in the Vongola with whom he can have an exciting and intelligent conversation, before Gokudera's fuse runs short that is.
He looks puzzled at the question at first, but soon the particles in his brain put two plus two together, he hopes he's correct, also - small talk is a waste of time.]
I haven't gotten to figure out much yet, since I woke up not long ago. But I'll break into the mainframe once I understand where I am and how to get out of heeEEREE!! [He squaeks as he feels a small deer's wet nose nudging his hand and sniffling his clothes.]
[Slightly amused, Gokudera merely quirks a brow at the squeak. He remembers his first morning without coffee and can sympathize.]
You are in a place called Himorogi. [Here, instructions, they come without further ado.] You can find a map, and a GPS from your Hitomi, that is the device you're holding. Don't worry about losing it or breaking it, you can't.
[Pause, and he rubs a hand over his face warily.] This place is called Kannagara. You've been brought here by a bunch of gods, so they say. And apparently the mission is to learn harmony or whatever. There are villages where majority of the populace lives in, you can find those from your map as well. As far as I'm aware most of the family lives in Yomisato. Don't be fooled by distances, on average, walking from any point A to point B takes about half an hour, unless within in a village.
[And here, he gives a small smile, pale but rather welcoming.] I dare speak in behalf of the Tenth and promise you a place to stay and settle down. Anything else you want to know?
[He waits and listens before making any decisions. The fact that Shouichi's willing to seek out Byakuran-Well, Reborn was really already aware of those facts so it's nothing to be surprised about. But he waits until after their conversation is over before contacting Shouichi.]
It won't take you that long. This world works in strange ways, it's only thirty minute walk between each village. Should take you about an hour, maybe two, to get in the city.
[Matt kind of grins at the wireless comment. He's wondered the same thing himself, what with the Hitomi being the most advanced thing he knows of here, and not by years. By, like, centuries.]
No wireless, and no power lines, 'cause no power. That way lies madness, dude. Just think of it as magic.

Half an hour? How could that possibly be? From what I'm reading right now, it's at least a day or so by foot!
[His expression softens and he can feel himself smiling at Gokudera's words,] Thank you, Gokudera-san.
Can I contact you again? [He's being polite, of course. Not wanting to become a burden to the storm Guardian.]
