He brings up Gamestop and GAME primarily as reasons why it's horrible. And to that point I'll agree. Buying used games at Gamestop and GAME at 5 dollars off New prices is indeed detrimental - but at that point it's the gamers doing it to themselves.
They don't HAVE to buy gutted games to get 5 bucks off - and we know they buy those games because in a lot of cases the NEW copies of those same games are in the exact same condition anyway. What games should do is demand the new product to be unopened, like I do. Rather than just buy used copies to save a couple dollars just because it's the same condition.
Ok I think I'll stop before I launch into a rant about that again. ^_^

The only other videos of his I remember posting about before are the "Why I think Bioware has gone too far with Mass Effect 3" video I just linked you to in the previous comment and, of course, his "The Devil's Halibut - Used Games" video which I linked to in the post itself above. I agreed with his ME3 video for the most part, but, same as you, I thought he was mostly way off-base with his anti-used games video, aside from his justified condemnation of GameStop/GAME/whatever. It was just that he seemed to mistakenly believe that "GameStop/GAME/whatever" == "all used games everywhere" and that's where I think ( ... )
