Grr...

So I have to say upfront first, thanks to my wonderful hubs Jake for doing a tremendous amount of laundry yesterday. However, the part where he failed to use Spray 'n Wash on Brady's clothes puts him back on the DO NOT TOUCH THE LAUNDRY LIST. I love that he was trying to be helpful, and that he was only doing it so that I could get a nap and some ( Read more... )

wtf, ranting

Aww yeah that is a bit of the fail, particularly because of the trip coming up. Well, pretty much anything halfway annoying would be fail before the trip. It's so ironic that just one wee thing can ruin an entire load of the laundry. I am still sort of paranoid about laundry for this reason.

Lol yeah, that is so true!

And yes, I hate how those small things mess up laundry! Everytime I do a load of laundry I'm paranoid too.

My hubby does the laundry here as we have to save all the water for the garden (we have permanent water restrictions these days) and i can't lift the heavy buckets of water. he's pretty good though and sorts them all and remembers things like delicates bags for bra etc, but because the water goes on the garden, we ca't use too many chemicals on them. That normally means hand scrubbing by moi for stains and extra grotty bits

Ohhh I don't think I would do well with that! :) I'll take my rotten experience over hand washing any day! :D

so long as i take my work clothes off as soon as i get home and i have house clothes that don't matter so much then i'm generally fine. i don't have too much i have to scrub out by hand. But even if they do go through the wash we don't use hot water and we don;t have a dryer, so at least any marks that are still there after the wash haven't been set in by the heat, so i can still get them

Lol, yay someone who gets me! :)

I washed and bleached everything twice last night, and although the streaks faded a bit, it's still not out completely. I didn't make it to the store last night, but I have to go to Wal-Mart for the basics, and to Kohl's to replace bras and camisoles for me, and a shirt for my daughter. She was so pissed, lol! It was a brand new shirt that she loved. Oops!
