Seven Score and Three Years Ago...
Visiting Washington, DC is a strange mix. The area where the seats of government and monuments are found is well-kept and swarming with tourists (and so many different varieties of police officers!). The rest is not so well off. Politics, however, is not what this entry is about. It's about the picture of the day.

IS ENSHRINED FOREVER
People were really noisy inside the memorial, despite signs requesting quiet. It still wasn't as loud as the Sistine Chapel, however.
