So anyone else out there find your enthusiasm for the movie (and the Twilight Saga in general) renewed now that the newest movie trailers are out?

*blush* yes. I too had an Edward Cullen moment of lust. I felt dirty for a minute cause he plays a high school boy in the movie, but then I realized RPattz is older than I am (barely) and that Edward is *really* 108 or something.

Haha You think YOU feel dirty? Put it this way... RPattz was born in 1986. Me? Erm...Well, let's just say I'm older--by about 9 years LOL *Shrugs* But when you get to be in your 30's you discover an appreciation for younger men. There's no shame in that. I wanna grow up to be like Samantha on SEX IN THE CITY someday. COUGAR!! MEOW!! haha

The only way I'd watch this film is to snark over it... and to see the prettyboys. Plus, I wanna see how in the HELL they'll pull off the sparkling. That has to be seen to be believed.

I heard rumors it was going to be CGI. I would've thought they'd use make-up or something. Hell, I have lotion with glitter in it that they could've used.

I love Twilight, I think that one was the best out of all four, not perfect, but good. Love the new trailer and it really, really makes me hope that the movie doesn't suck and that it restores some of my faith in the saga.

I dunno why Steph calls it a "saga" anyway. Soap opera for teens? Def. Saga? Nah. When I think saga I think Lord of the Rings or even Star Wars, not a teen vamp Emofest. Then again, I guess that's Steph being Emo. LOL

TWILIGHT was the best of the series. I agree. The rest just went downhill because of Bella's constant bitching and "I'm not worthy! I'm SOOOO not worthy!" BS. (Funny how BS also stands for Bella Swan, huh? haha)

The only thing missing from TWILIGHT was the fight scene between James and the Cullens. I honestly thought I missed a chapter when I got to that point. I couldn't believe Steph wussed out of writing it. Can't wait to see James get his comupance in the movie!! Although, the actor that plays James is wayyy hotter than RPattz IMHO. Looks like Brad Pitt Lite. If I were Bella I'd be throwing myself at James and begging him to show me his sparkly! ;-)

I can't claim that I have been uninterested since, like 2005 (oh god! it's true! 2005? shit!), but my interest is definitely being renewed. I thought it had peaked, but it's back now, possibly strong than before. If watching the Twilight trailer on repeat while analyzing movie stills is wrong, I don't want to be right.

Haha You think 2005 is a long time? Try remembering back to 1994 when the movie for Anne Rice's INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE first came out and started all this modern day vampire madness LOL That's when Brad Pitt was still single and Tom Cruise was still sane LOL This whole TWILIGHT thing is de ja vu for me :-) Then again IWAV wasn't written for teens. Lestat would've kicked Edward's ass for sparkling LMAO
