It's quite possible I read it at the time and forgot again. But it hit me last night when I suddenly had a craving for the closing theme, the one where Withnail's striding across the park after doing his definitive Hamlet, so I sought it out on YouTube. Now I have a craving for someone to do a vid of Sherlock and John walking round London to Withnail's Theme.

This implies that Benedict Cumberbatch will be widely tipped to become the Twelfth Doctor, but the gig will actually go to Martin Freeman.

I thought most of the gossip was about Cumberbatch getting The Other Role, which I'm sure he'd do very well, but he seems a bit too obvious. I'm really intrigued by the thought of Freeman in the part, now, though.
