Every once in a while, I have these moments where I go, "Hey, I'm someone's mom. Cool!"

These moments are inevitably followed by a moment of panic where I go, "Crap, I'm someone's mom!" and wonder what on earth I've gotten myself into

We should chat about this sometime, since it's only the past few years that I've seen my mom freak out about whatever she did/didn't do that might have messed me up, and it's been a very interesting series of conversations. (I kind of wish my Mom watched SPN, so I could point to John and be like, "Okay, you did better than John, I think, and I totally am okay with John as a parental figure, so CHILL.")

You and Bill are in my prayers constantly, that you may enjoy your offspring in grace and (some) peace.
