Random post is random

See this icon? It's not mine. It's pretending to be mine, and seems to have slipped in during the night and killed my Cthulhu icon so that it could take the Cthulhu icon's place without me noticing. This happened once before, where my coffee icon was replaced by something with an animated goat. At that time, I thought it was some random glitch, but

This seems to happen to a lot of people, a lot, and I think it's a known bug. The last time I saw it, it turned out that everybody else could see the correct icon and only the person whose icon it actually is (or, as the case may be, isn't) was seeing the wrong one. This seems to still be the case, unless it's fixed itself since you posted this, because I see Cthulhu. (And am now utterly mad, of course. Thanks a lot!)

So maybe LJ's not spying on me, it just has an evil plot to make me look like I have no idea what I'm talking about. Which...isn't so hard that it requires playing merry hell with my icons.

The icon nargles have stolen my icons and given me random anime icons in the past as well. It is VERY annoying. *sigh*

Er, no, I can see the anime character, not Cthulu, so you are not crazy.

Ditto. I believe there have been issues with this since the server move, something to do with their image storage. (There's a lot of support requests on the board complaining about similar things.)

But a server move glitch is much less fun than an elaborate plot to undermine my credibility in the blogosphere by making me look crazy! *is disappointed*

Oh, I'm so glad it's good!! I really want to see it and show it to my sister, who I think would like it. Fee said she might have found a way to get a Region 2 version...? So if she succeeds, I will duplicate whatever she did and get one, too. Assuming I can play region 2, which is an unknown, at this time.
