I am back. I am only slightly jet-lagged. America was amazing. I ate far too much. It snowed. The buildings were very tall. American drivers are terrifying. I love ice-hockey. I have much tacky 'I Heart NY' merchandise. Nothing untoward happened (apart from having to take Jenny to ER for getting acid on her tongue, but that was just hilarious).

My mian observations is that everything is so BIG. Big buildings, big cars, big advertising, big meals. No wonder Americans think England is 'quaint'.

Hershey's is certainly ... odd. I mean, I can eat it, but Cadbury's beats it hands down. And quite a few people on the trip did say that it was disgusting! It has this really weird non-melting feeling.

I know - it made me feel so small. As I said to Penny upon walking into Times Square - "This is the first time that I've felt this much awe for something man-made." And the feeling continued all week.

Oh, it's an incredibly amusing story. Well, at the time, it was also rather worrying, but I was still giggling behind my hand. *looks smug at being criptic*
I did consider bringing the bottle back with me (and like, keeping gin in it, or something), but I had enough trouble closing my suitcase as it was.
