Well, Christmas this year was very memorable, in that I spent most of it up to my elbows in various medicines. Thank God (very appropriate) for chemists that open on Christmas Day. But it was mostly a pretty good day, and there were Neil Gaiman and Dorothy Dunnett books to keep me from complaining too loudly. The Family sat me down with the Franz

Perhaps I shouldn't use the word lubricant and family in the same sentence. Oh well, I am much too tired to care right now.
I've sworn off food as well. It's not going to last long. Actually, I'm going to Tracey's on the weekend so it's no doubt that we will be consuming large amounts of food, most likely Christmas left overs.

I had plenty of alcohol the night before, but that doesn't really count, does it? I did suggest that Father out whiskey in my tea to 'pep me up', but he said that, mixed with the huge amounts of drugs going through my system, it would probably kill me. Or leave me paralysed, at the very least. So the non-alcoholicness was probably a good thing.
The Parents have gone away for a couple of days, so I have all the crappy food I want, whenever I want. I'm currently eating trifle for breakfast. It's good stuff.

Mmmmm, trifle. Would you like me to describe it to you? Yes? It's a bizarre purple colour (blackcurrant?), with sherry at the bottom, and little bits of madeira cake, which are all jelly-ish and squishy. And then there are pieces of sliced peach (peaches and blackcurrant, wtf?), covered in thick custard, and topped with double cream goodness.
Yum, yum, yum. All for me.
Bwahahahaha! Are you salivering yet?

Which will start as soon as I finish eating all this trifle. **nods and snorts** Oh yes, my regime will be starting very soon. After mum has finished icing the bloody Christmas cake so I can start on the arduous task of eating it before school starts again. Luckily, apart from that we seem to have only ham left over, and ice cream in the freezer. As I'm terribly lazy and can't be bothered shifting all the stuff on the freezer to get to, I'm safe on that count.

*catches get well thoughts* Actually, they seem to have worked, as now I can speak (hooray!), and only lay awake for three hours last night coughing (hooray!), and...wait, no, my nose still is in severer protest. But we are getting there. And have promptly passed on The Weird Coughy Disease to the friends. So everyone loves me now.
Still haven't finished trifle. There's a lot of it! Not to mention I am eating it very slowly to strecth out my hours of freedom from eating-discipline. Which will probably be over in a matter of minutes, anyway.
