If not, why aren't you?? They are SO awesome.

Anyway, if you are, then go and read this story by kahtyasofia right now. Seriously.

as I have 7 more weeks of freedom and lots of time sitting still with a small person attached to my front, i think I may start watching torchwood. do I need to watch any dw first? bearing in mind the only doctor I've watched was the 7th, and that was long, long ago...

Well, I love New!Who (actually *sssh* almost more than Torchwood in terms of sheer quality, AND I consider them to really be one universe) so I'm a little biased.) I think watching series 1 of New!Who is totally worth it. But Jack, the main character in Torchwood, is introduced in the last five eps of series 1 of Doctor Who: episodes are (by name) "The Empty Child," "The Doctor Dances," "Boom Town," "Bad Wolf" and "The Parting of the Ways." You might want to ask Rach for her recommendations about viewing order, as she, I think, did it by watching Torchwood first? I watched it in order though, and I'm glad I did. YMMV ( ... )

thanks. :) small person has increased his popularity by engaging in socially acceptable sleep time in the last 24 hours. I have now watched the first 3 episodes of series 1, and I understand completely now why I refused to watch dr who at a birthday party in 3rd grade on the grounds that I found it too scary. it's creepy. awesome, and highly creepy. i wish netflix had the whole season available for insta-view, rather than just the first half.
