Well, I had my gastric bypass surgery on Monday (10/24)... so far everything is going great... I got to go home on Thursday I was doing so well...

this is gonna be a HUGE adjustment, but I'm psyched about the fact I can get off the diabetes and high BP meds hopefully and alos have a healthier life... ;)

well, nothing much to report in the world of Jason lately... my family is slowly adjusting to life without my granddad... my aunt's still taking it pretty hard, with a lot of "what ifs ( Read more... )

well, granddad passed away on Friday, 7/29 around 2:30pm.... he's much better off now, but it still hurts all of us left behind...

we had the visitation yesterday, and the funeral today... I'm tired, as is the rest of my family...

think I'm gonna take tomorrow off....

well, Granddad FINALLY got his feeding tube inserted yetsreday... he still has a viral infection in his esophagus, but at least now maybe we can get some nutrition into him...

my granddad has pretty much consumed my free time (not that I'm complaining) but I seriously need to get out this weekend for a while...

well, G-dad's doing better... the doc is talking about letting him go home again tomorrow...

watched "Wedding Crashers" tonite, and it was HILARIOUS!

my granddad finally got to go home Friday (7/8) and he starts physical therapy to get him back walking tomorrow... he told my mom the other nite in a moment of clarity that he wished he would just die... I hope that I never have to deal with Alzheimers ( Read more... )

well, my g'dad did get to leave ICU on Friday (7/1), and my mom & I stayed with him that nite... he didn't sleep all nite, so neither did we...

weekend/holiday plans fell thru, so me & Brian went to see our friends at Visions Sat nite... it was fun as hell, since we hadn't been in about 2mos+

definitely better news.... my g'dad is doing a LOT better, so good he may get moved out of ICU tomorrow ( Read more... )
