Sephiroth, for his part, seems to be dealing relatively well for a man who's just recently come back from the dead and up until the night before hadn't had so much as a single friend to his name. His wing has, by this point, gone and disappeared once again, but that's hardly much of a surprise. Or at least, so one would assume, given that he's never really called it out much.

And with it hiding away again, Cloud can probably get a much better of view of things that the dark of night had hidden. If he looks close enough, he'll be able to spot a thin scar of where a sword went rather literally through him - Cloud might even find a little familiar if he thinks.

And with his gloves gone (removed earlier to make it easier to feel things) Cloud might also catch glimpses of what would seem to be a tattoo on the back of his left hand as he moves about.

Cloud recognizes the scar, he very much does. The shape is distinct enough that it can't be mistaken in its origin, made from a blunt, wide blade, tapered at the corners and inserted with extreme force.

Cloud bites his lower lip, now gloved fingers outstretched to smooth against the white scar.

There's a blink from Sephiroth as Cloud's fingers brush over the scar, and turns to look rather quizzically at Cloud.

"Something the matter?" The fact that the scar is there doesn't concern him too much, and he's certainly done more than the equivalent to Cloud.

There's another stroke down, curious and of moderate pressure before he pulls his hand away. Tilting his face up at Sephiroth from his perched state, Cloud shakes his head, "Didn't think I'd see this."

His hand traces his own mark over his shirt, eyes still looking up at Sephiroth.

There's a slight smile at that. "I think we'll both be seeing things we never expected to see for a while."

It kind of comes with the whole 'coming back' thing, after all.
