In the past 2 days, 3 men have given me unsolicited advice about my eating habits.
According to them, I should be eating less frequently. I should be drinking soda sweetened with stevia instead of high fructose corn syrup. And I should be eating cheeseburgers and pancakes. As a nod to my stated vegetarianism, they can be turkey burgers.
unsolicited advice from others,

And you shouldn't drink too much soda period. It's bad for your digestive system. :-)

WAIT LET ME MANSPLAIN

Man #1: Saw me in the breakroom and said when he sees me, he always sees me eating. Well, duh, I'm on lunch break!
Man #2: Saw soda on my desk. Told me 'we need to get you off high fructose corn syrup'.
Man #3: Cab driver this time. We were nearing the IHOP, so he told me I totally needed to get up an hour earlier (I stopped him right there to say THAT was not going to happen) so I could go to IHOP. No use pointing out IHOP serves breakfast ALL DAY. Or that I'd have to get up 2 hours earlier in order to even get there without a car. Conversation then devolved into cheeseburgers. Clearly the greatest hardship to being vegetarian: that I can't eat cheeseburgers.
And I hope my coworkers aren't Googling my name. Oh wait, that's right, I have the most anonymous name ever! Thank you, Sound of Music lady! :)

Except, of course, that they weren't, they were out of this [sweary] culture that says men can treat women like stupid children at any time with no instigation & be considered the "reasonable" ones.
