Well, I didn't get into Oberlin. And I didn't get into Brandies.

And, therefore, I have come to the conclusion that there is a 10% chance of getting into Bard.

And then, well, I don't really want to go to Binghamton.

So that leaves New Paltz.

And that's my future.

I'm sure as hell not that fucking excited.

honey. I can't believe it. you deserved to get in. well, I would have been worried about you if you went to oberlin, but really. I wouldn't give up on bard because it seems like more the type of school who appreciates all the artsy stuff you do--if they could just see all your projects!! I love you and you'll do great in life in general. and new paltz doesn't seem that bad, it was rebellious and had gay marriage that time a few years ago.

but no matter what, just know this statistic I read somwhere: only this amount gets into their first choice school, but a much higher number is happy where they end up. just think about it. I love you to pieces.

What's wrong with New Paltz?

Okay well you were just in my foyer saying hello during powerwalking, but now I'm back upstairs.

But colleges are ridiculous. Seriously. No one ever really knows how ridiculous they are until they keep pulling stunts like this over and over again. I really hope you get into Bard. And if you end up going to New Paltz, it won't be the end of the world. You'll be in the Hudson Valley and close to NYC, and hey if you really hate it you can work really hard and transfer. Everything happens for a reason, honey. Just don't focus too much on the bad things. I'll see you tomorrow night.

I got waitlisted from U of R...which means no. Look on the bright side; you don't have to go to MCC and stay in rochester living in your parents house.

I got waitlisted at Boston University, most people don't get in everywhere they apply. I wouldn't give up on Bard, I agree with Courtney, you seem like the kind of person they are looking for. In regards to the other schools, I think that alot of your skills, such as your writing and artistic ability are hard to messure on applications...that and colleges are stupid. Anyway, good luck!!
