This is so gritty, and harsh, and just very good.
If you think about Sprite too long, he may actually derail your brains.
Kudos.

I loved this! Just the right touch. You didn't go overboard with explanations and descriptions. It flowed beautifully.

This was beautiful! Melancholy but not overwrought, and I loved the scene of Dean teaching Sam to spit, it's such a little boy thing to do. It all felt very authentic.

I'm so happy you mentioned the spitting scene. I have a soft spot for it myself as it might've been loosely based on my own memory I wanted to write it for some time but couldn't quite find a good place for it.

Thank you so much for reading!

Ha! Well as I was reading that I was thinking, ewww, gross, but it was also strangely touching and definitely realistic! :)

I know, gross! But I swear I don't do it too often anymore and am fairly sure Sam doesn't either. As for Dean, well, I wouldn't really put my money on that.

I really enjoyed this, from the melancholy of Dean remembering Sam, and missing him, to the low key ghost story that felt like a real legend. A ghost who keeps riding trains, on and on forever :). Gorgeous!

I'm so happy you liked the fic. I struggled horribly with Sprite's story, seriously, the guy made my fingers bleed *pokes him in the eye* I'm stoked the final version worked for you.

Thank you so much for reading and leaving such a kind comment.
