Friday's on my mind.  Why?  Hidden Valley opens.  Normally I don't get very excited about Hidden Valley since I prefer Seven Springs much, much more, but this year is something special.  Hidden Valley is offering FREE lift tickets for friday 28th sunday 30th and then again saturday the 6th and sunday the 7th.  Awesome ( Read more... )

So on Monday night we got to help out a fella from a private research group that's been working in the area with his grouse project.  Actually, we help him every Wed and Fri by tracking his radio-collared grouse, but this time was a little cooler.  He needed to put new radio collars on some new grouse plus he wanted to put a few of his new $$$ GPS ( Read more... )
