Homeschooling: Week 2

This week had its ups and downs in terms of how much we did and Z's frustration levels. The weekend was packed full of fun stuff: the Dunwoody Nature Center held a butterfly festival on Saturday, and we had a blast. We got there early to ensure a pass into the butterfly tent, then wandered around doing butterfly and caterpillar related crafts.

My younger son was very interested in chemistry as a youngster. I think he was 5 or 6 when I got him a place mat with the periodic table of the elements. He delighted in learning the names and symbols.
