(((( ))))

I'm sorry.

I wish one of us could offer you some magic solution that would make this better, and make it work. Because it's really unfair that you're not having any luck with this whole thing.

HUGS!

Going to formula may be the right choice for you and Z. If it is (and it's sounding like it), don't look back & don't let anyone give you any shit over it.

I really admire how dedicated you've been to trying to make breastfeeding work - a LOT - but I don't think anyone here is going to be disappointed in you at this point for transitioning to formula.

What she said!!!!

We know you gave it all you got, but you have to do what's best for Z AND you. At least he got some good booby juice for the first month, which is more than many babies can claim.

I'm so sorry that breastfeeding hasn't worked out at all for you. I know you wanted to make it work, and you've done everything you can do do it. But it's not working, and that's okay.

I would have given up weeks ago, so don't let anyone try to guilt you for going with formula. Let the Leche League deal with it, honey. *huge hugs*

As a man I feel I should chide you for doing what is best for you and your child instead of suffering through what is the True and Right Thing to Do(TM).

Honestly, I truly think the best thing for *him* is to be nursed. He's so much more peaceful and content that way,and it's so much less messy. But I just can't do it. :(

And that's the key -- I don't think it's enough for it to be good for him. It has to be good for all three of you.

Hang in there.
