God, I was such a zombie yesterday.
No, really, I was. All day. And it had nothing to do with getting up early to drive to Loganville. Ok, the Loganville part was related, but the getting up early was completely beside the point. Well, I guess it did help me stay in character.
All of which is a roundabout way of saying that a lot of this year's DCTV spots require zombie footage. Zombies shambling this way and that, alone and in groups. Zombies storming buildings and cars. Zombies devouring human flesh. Zombies dancing in a music video. You get the idea.
We converged on the Geekfarm circa 10am to zombify. I was in charge of artistically bloodying a pile of old clothes, which were then ripped up for costumes--since, apparently, when you become a zombie, you are also attacked by wild dogs.
eponasr painted us pale, gave us some realistic looking dark bumps and hollows, and in my case, affixed a beautifully gorey latex prosthetic wound. Then it was time to shamble!
Look for my rotting flesh in a DCTV video, coming in September to a con near you!
