Okay, that just sucks ASS...whomever owns the car should be held accountable and their insurance should have to cover it.

I'd find out where they live and get an estimate for your repairs and send it to them with a copy of the police report and a statement from your witness.

I got the police report number to send to my insurance but if it comes down to me paying to fix it, the damage isn't really worth the trouble. Their car on the otherhand is completely hosed. I love my little SUV. It looks like their hood car went right underneath my rear bumper.

The same thing happened in my Montero years ago. I stopped at a yellow turning red before I knew I couldn't make a left hand turn in time. The Mustang behing me gunned it thinking she'd make the light. Duh! Not when there's someone in front of you slowing down.

I never reported that one because I couldn't even figure out where she hit my car. Her car prolly cost thousands to repair. Maybe next time she'll look before she leaps.

That's the one good thing about an SUV...

Oh, damn! well, at least your car's okay and no one's hurt.. That way it can be chalked up to just a part of a crazy adventurous weekend instead of a tragedy!

Me too but unfortunately they won't be able to give them a DUI. At least they can be charged for the hit and run.
