Been Too Busy

I remember when busy meant busy for eight hours a day not busy twelve hours a day. I like normal busy but not too busy. Between work... and work I have had very little time for myself lately and psychologically it makes me give up on too many other aspects of my life. I saw 'Something's Got To Give' with Nicholson. It's pretty feel-good, but it was really what I needed. Also 'Last Samuri' was great. I enjoyed it more than I'd wanted to. (I'm just not a Tom Cruise fan b/c I find him to be too arrogant.) I'll assume that you've already seen 'Lost In Translation', but I mention it b/c I am obsessed with that movie and could watch it over and over all day.

I hope that your schedule ligthens up a bit. You sound pretty deserving of a blonde boy. ;)

I went to a college that operated 24-7 which means sometimes I would have 16 hour school days, ... or 4 hour labs from 1am-5am. or from 5am-9am.

anyway, after that experience I've never been the same. I try to cram to much stuff into one day. I almost wish we operated on 30 hour days so I would have enough time t relax, take a bath, and do the "me things " I need.

truth is: You have to incorporate the "me things" into you daily scedule. If you work 12 hours in one day, you have to come home and make time for yourself.

reward yourself with little things when you work often. I find a nice soothing bubble bath alone, helps me prepare for hanging out with my BF or my friends, or helps me get ready for bed and read a book.

Just saw Harry Potter today... not too shabby. Entertaining.

Only movie I can really recommend of late is "The Girl w/ the Pearl Earing." Beautiful movie!
