Jensen/Jared (Jensen/Danneel, Jared/Genevieve) 686 words Warning: Infidelity / open marriage (somebody stop me) A/N: Not the best thing to close the year with, but better than starting the new one with it.
Yes, there's infidelity - and it's true that in general, in any form, it's not a good thing - but as I read the ending, there's also this outpouring of LOVE that just grabs on your heartstrings, and pulls... It's the idea that Danni cares so much about Jensen that she'd do anything to make him happy that makes this so much more than a story about being unfaithful!!! It shows respect (on both sides), understanding, sympathy, acceptance, and a real version of love that is, honestly, never perfect.
Well done!!! I'd love to read a sequel/partner story about Jared and Gen's side, and/or maybe more behind Danni's (and Gen's) feelings about the J's, the Boys feelings (for their wives and each other), and their entire crazy-complicated situation... *sends bunnies scampering in your direction* ;D
I am so glad you're seeing it that way. Because infidelity is wrong, in general. Unless you dare to look beneath the surface and see things the way they really are, for everyone involved. And love is complicated. Or so I've heard. ;)
I'm not sure about a sequel, I usually write these as one-shots, a sudden idea that just needs to be written, without logic. But never say never. And if you feel like reading something from Danneel's or Genevieve's POV (although I've actually written only Danneel's POVs so far), try Change of Season 'verse or CCMA 'verse.
