What strikes me is that her posture and the position of her arms when she holds Mary is exactly the same as when she holds her husband. Of course, maybe Mary grabbed her and she moved instinctively... there is an element of mischief in Mary's expression.

As for her comfort level, one should take into account the situation, fatigue level, even the type of shoes Kyra was wearing, but yes, she does look a lot less stressed with Mary.
