Forgot to mention that I finally took the roll of film that I have for the birthday celebration stuff in to be developed, and so should have the pics for showing here on my blog soon, assuming that any of them come out right

Keep an eye out - low-end digital cameras are starting to show up at garage sales and the like, you can probably get one relatively cheaply that way (albeit with no warranty).

Hadn't thought of that, mate. Not a bad idea, but I'm not sure I want a used camera let alone one without a warranty.
