One of my bfs from HS was (well, still is, lol!) gay. He was deep in the closet during HS because it was the early 80s and we went to a super conservative Christian HS. I last talked to him about 16 years ago (wow, around the time you were born). he was happily married to a really nice guy and had his own interior design company (I told him he was a cliche which made him laugh). I should get in touch with him again. I miss him.
I'm probably as heterosexual (and the complete opposite of Karen--except for the boobs! lol!) as you can get but I totally understand what you mean about having a gay bf. I miss that. He understood stuff my female bf didn't get. And he didn't judge me and we understood each other. I wanted to marry him. Didn't realize at the time I was the wrong gender. :D

lol I've never been straight, but I'm very good at pretending I am! I'm glad you get what I mean. I had a best friend who was gay and he ended up commiting suicide. I didn't find out until he was dead that he was gay. It makes me feel guilty sometimes cause even back when I didn't know I was bi, I still wouldn't have judged him. Idunno, I wanted to marry him, lol.
