Twelve years on ...

Twelve years ago today the world rocked on its axis and things changed in a fundamental way. Travelling into London this morning I couldn't help but reflect on all that has transpired. I was still living in Canada on 9/11 and remember the utter disbelief and shock that reverberated throughout everyone around me as we watched was going on. Terrorist

I remember driving past NYC right after it and where the twin towers were - was smoke and fire and it looked like the gates of hell had come to earth.

I was on my way home from work when I heard on the radio that a plane had hit the twin towers. At first I thought how awful it was, thinking it was just a plane crash. Then I heard about the other one and that it was terrorist. You're right. It shocked the world.
