My musings on Merlin and X-Factor (Hello Glee cast!!!)

So, firstly, the season finale of Merlin. I completely loved it -- along with Part I of the "The Coming of Arthur". Were there problems with it? Of course. But all in all, these two episodes reminded me once again why I still adore this show.

how was the concert?

Thanks to the Tube strike and unseasonably cold weather here in England, travel became rather difficult indeed. Ergo, most unfortunately, no concert for me ... :(

Rebecca is my favourite too. I rather hope she wins but I expect the floppy haired kiddies to nick it. Lovely to see the cast of Glee on X Factor but I thought the blatant miming was embarrassing. I confess I've listened to the soundtrack enough to know that all they did was play it - not one of them was singing live. But the Jane Lynch intro vid was hilarious!

The intro vid was fabulous; kudos to the production team for pulling it together.

And all in all, it was still good fun to watch!

No no no. There is no excuse for watching the X-factor ;-)

I do so love the knights. And I really really want Lancelot to hang around in the next series.

But watching the conflict between Simon and Louis is *such* fun!!!

As for the knights -- their appearance has made me gleefully happy. And Arthur looks happy to seem them too :D. (As does Merlin.)

And yes, can we start petitioning for Lancelot to be a regular character?

The Round Table scene was utterly brilliant. For once, the entire team got it right with the tone of that scene in my opinion. I'm still agog over how *kingly* Arthur was in that scene.

As for Leon, good point about the beard :). ::redons plot hole glasses:: He was obviously wearing one of Morgana's huge cloaks which hides faces ;).

As for The X-Factor ::grins::. It's all about the entertainment!

I loved all sorts of things about this episode, but the return of Lancelot was up at the top of my list [g]

The return of Lancelot was at the top of many of our lists! The contrast between Lancelot and his chivalrous approach to being a knight as compared to Gwaine's swagger and seemingly more laid back approach is a delight to watch.

More Lancelot next season! Please!!
