Book 72 - 2007
I don't remember where I found my copy of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. It is a two books in one with The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes in a darling blue hardcover that I imagine cost me a dollar. I Did a Very Silly Thing

Turn of the Screw
The Writer's Theatre is doing an adaptation of Henry James' Turn of the Screw at the bookstore stage. This is the one that seats about fifty people and the actors are so on top of you that you worry about someone tripping on your purse ( Read more... ) -

Finally Finished Another Book
Since Bel Canto became a Book Club darling, Ann Patchett's books can be found everywhere. Even in the Clearance Section for a dollar. So I picked up a few and just finished The Magician's AssistantSabine's husband, Parsifal, just died suddenly. He was, among other things, a professional magician. Made a fortune selling fine rugs.
