Warning: This post is really long and very picture heavy. I decided to get it all out in one big post. I'm still using Photobucket even though I hate the size of their pictures. So... the pearl thing... did they put the pearls in there? Or is it THAT easy to find pearls in an oyster?

Also that tour-- was it just you, Blake and the tour guide? How much was it?

That view of city from twin peaks is BEAUTIFUL.
CASTRO! Jealous
and omg at all those sea lions..

SO jealous of Alcatraz too.

and HAHA at the FUll House house. I also recognize those 7 houses from the opening sequence of Full House.

AND ON TOP OF ALL THAT, MIKA???

Wow I never thought there was so much in San Francisco!

oh those damn pearls! haha. They are cultured, so the oysters are injected with a piece of sand or something and then grown in pearl farms. Most pearls that you find in a jewelry store are done this way. A real pearl made the good old fashion way is not usually round, and I don't think they are as easy to get. The pearl stores in SF guarantee you'll get a pearl out of your oyster, or they'll give you another one to crack open. I guess they x-ray them first. Plus you can get different colors. Maybe I'll make a post about it, but I ended up with a black pearl, a silver one, and a silverish blue one. Blake got 3 white ones and a pink one ( ... )

Jenn! It looks like you had so much fun. Someday I need to go on a vacation with you because it sounds like you totally know how to make the most of it. I love you! I'm assuming I'll see you at Christmas (if not before)?
