Last night I stayed up until 3 in the morning reading A Brief History of Time, chapter 4 on the Uncertainty Principle and quantum mechanics. In only a few pages, Professor Hawking has added another level onto my understanding of atomic structure, electrons, their movement, and their interaction within molecules. I say again, I <3 Carl Sagan. Contact is freaking awesome. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who didn't have a basic groundwork knowledge of astronomy, because Carl Sagan is *definitely* a scientist.
