I think I'm going to be doing a series of magic reveal fics. I already have an idea for another one.

Thanks for the quickie edit! I wrote this last night when I was half asleep:D Will fix now.

I liked how Arthur reacted by going out and beating up his dummy, instead of Merlin. Well done.

I dont know who the actual magic reveal will be done but I wish it would be something like this.

Great story.

Thanks! I've shied away from magic reveal stories, but it is definitely interesting to play with!

“Oh, don’t you cry. Don’t you dare cry. You have not earned that privilege.”

Love this.

I also love Merlin kneeling before Arthur. It had not occurred to me before reading that that he's never once done that (he hasn't ever, right?), not for any reason, much less as a plea for forgiveness and mercy. It's wonderful, because it also ties back to their very first encounter, when Arthur asks him if he knows how to walk on his knees.

♥ Thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I had forgotten about the knee walking (as much as I can really forget anything from that first ep).

I don't think we have seen him kneel to Arthur, no. He was never knighted. I would love to see a scene (or two or three) where Merlin kneels to his king.

Here, it is a plea for forgiveness and mercy, of course, but also to show Arthur (who can be kind of thick) that he has always been his liege.

It's been challenging for me to write from Arthur's POV, but definitely good exercise too!
