Oh yay, actual good fic in the community! It has been a while and this is welcome. I like your descriptions, scene-setting and dialogue - I felt I was at home in the story right away and you introduce the situation carefully and subtly.

I did enjoy the first half better than the second, but that's probably a personal preference rather than anything to do with the writing because it's good all the way through. And as a former major Westlife fangirl (and Boyzone, come to think of it... god, my past) I grinned at their inclusion.

Well done!

What a compliment, bb, thank you :) And, yes, you've totally outed me as a Westlife fangirl (Edge too, at least in my head!).

I'm not sure why my U2 muse decided to bust out in this story about B/E's relationships with their wives, but the women are so much a part of them I think I had to write this first, yk? And I indeed tried to do so subtly and carefully, because the ladies deserve all the respect in the world.

tl;dr - I am so glad this worked for you! Thank you again!

the grey morning heralded storms up ahead, and more if they didn’t navigate this small, true thing very carefully.

Beautiful writing, as always. ♥

Wow, this was really really sweet. I enjoyed your characterisation, your use of language and the dialogue especially. I hope we'll see more from you.

Thank you! So glad this worked for you, especially dialogue, which I love to write, and I was very concerned about (I find the Irish patois really charming, and early B/E seem to do it quite a bit, but I want to learn to write it authentically!).

And I do intend to write more! Except, as I was telling Lacy, for some reason I am mulling over some early, Ali-POV Dublin story. Not sure when my muse will get to the happy sexing, because I sure wish that she'd hurry, lol.
