This is the kinda guy who writes a Christmas Carol, about being arrested and thrown in the drunk tank on Christmas Eve, and having to call his SO to bail him out. And it has the air of personal experience, like what the cops sing when they are stuck in the stationhouse on Christmas eve. He uses gambling metaphors to explain what hope is ( ... )

"Christians and Pagans" made me cry the first time I heard it, and I still find myself tearing up when I hear it. I want to send it to my mom... she'd probably cry, too, then be mad about sending her a song with "Pagan" in it.
