As the wind makes way for the deluge, I am suddenly reminded that I got new gutters installed less than a week ago. Which, on the one hand, is probably a Very Good Thing -- the old gutters were somewhat leaf-clogged and more than a bit broken, while the new ones are fancy clog-preventing ones, intact and better-designed to begin with ( Read more... )

The pain died down a couple of hours ago -- while I was attributing that to the megadose of ibuprofen, I suspected that it might be due to the thing moving along, and so it seems to have done.
